LigLabPrivacy Policy

LigLab is an app that offers statistical predictions for football matches and lets users compete with their own score predictions. This policy explains which data we process and why. In short: we do not ask you to sign up; we do not access your location or contacts; there are no ads and no tracking.

Data we collect

| Your Apple or Google account (optional) | If you link Apple or Google to protect your account, the identifier and email address provided by that provider are linked to your account, so you can continue with the same account on a new phone. With Apple you can use “Hide My Email”. If you link Google, the name Google provides is also stored in the account record; it is not shown in the app. If you do not link, no email is collected. |

Nobody can see your prediction before a match starts; after kick-off, only users who share a league with you see your prediction for that match and your display name on the comparison screen. Data that stays on your device
Notes you write on matches, your favorite teams and your app preferences (including language) are stored only on your device and are not sent to our servers. Notifications are created locally on your device.
Website
The website liglab.app is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes visitors’ IP addresses as the server that delivers the pages. The site uses no cookies, analytics or tracking tools. To show current accuracy figures, your browser downloads data from the Supabase server (South Korea) that hosts our public files; Supabase sees your IP address during this request. We do not keep any information that identifies you from these requests.
What we do not use
We do not use advertising, advertising IDs, analytics or tracking tools. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising. We do not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts or photos.
Where your data is stored
Account and league data is stored with our infrastructure provider Supabase, in a data center in South Korea (Seoul), over an encrypted connection. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google.
Users in Türkiye: this means your data is transferred abroad; we rely on your explicit consent for this transfer under KVKK.
Users in the European Union / European Economic Area: the transfer of your data to South Korea is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the Republic of Korea. Our data processing agreement with our infrastructure provider Supabase Inc. (USA) includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where necessary.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all your data immediately in the app under Settings → Delete my account and data. Deleted data is also removed from our infrastructure provider’s security backups automatically within 30 days at the latest. If you cannot access the app, write to the address below with your display name; your request will be fulfilled within 30 days.
Age limit
LigLab is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Your rights
Under KVKK and the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your data and to object to its processing. You can write to the address below to exercise these rights.
Additional information for users in the EU/EEA (GDPR):
- Legal basis: we process your data for your account, predictions, leagues and Pro membership to perform the user agreement between us (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). To block inappropriate content, prevent abuse and keep the service secure, we rely on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Notifications are created locally on your device; you can withdraw permission in your device settings at any time.
- Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. We respond to your request within one month at the latest.
- Right to complain: you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country, for example the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands or the data protection authority of your federal state in Germany.
- Service providers (processors): Supabase (hosting and database), Apple and Google (optional sign-in and purchases). No personal data of yours is sent to match data providers.
- Automated decision-making: no automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects is made about you; the predictions concern matches only.
